Just recently finished Paranoia Agent and I'm still not sure what the hell it was about. I also know for a fact the director, Satoshi Kon, didn't either - unless he was trippin' when he did the commentary. But I'm not surprised... about the weird ending, not him trippin'. Or not trippin'. I mean, who needs drugs when you're the mind behind Perfect Blue and Millenium Actress?

Strange, tho. I somehow feel satisfied with the unsatisfying ending. I think if Kon had wrapped it up neatly and explained all our questions it would have betrayed the twisted soul of PA.

I just feel bad about poor Mitsuhiro - I really wish things had turned out better for him. Especially after he practically saves the world!
